EXPLORE THE OUTDOORS! Group Activity Ideas for Educators

June is the ideal time to get outside with your students to explore nature. We'll share small group and individual outdoor activity ideas that are suitable for elementary school classes this spring, taking into account health restrictions around shared materials and a desire for distanced activities. Participants will be sent a zoom link 1 hour prior to the workshop.
VIRTUAL SCHOOL PROGRAM - No Bones About It
Friday, May 29, 2020 at 1 pm
Intermediate students will learn more about animal bones, beaks, and claws and will explore how vertebrates and invertebrates are adapted to the environments around them. We will send a Zoom link to participants 2 hours prior to the program's start.

Emma and Isobel are excited to share their latest nature creation with you! Do you love to dress up? Make your own forest masks and crowns and then get outside and play.

Lynn Canyon Park Closures
Currently, the Ecology Centre, Suspension Bridge, Lynn Canyon Cafe, and the main parking lots on the west side of Lynn Canyon Park are closed to limit the spread of Covid-19. The stairs leading to Twin Falls on the west side of Lynn Creek are closed for a rebuild.
